Now I’ll be honest, Mila and I like to stay busy—we always have. And then we met Julio at an animal rescue event. Don’t get me wrong, Mila and still work hard, but Julio taught us to play hard too; that maybe there were some tasks that we could give up so we could spend more time just blindly enjoying life like Julio does. And then inspiration hit. Maybe if we could take one big task off of people’s plates, they could find more balance like we did.
At Julio’s Laundry it may seem like we sell laundry services, but what we actually sell is time—our most precious commodity. Instead of doing laundry, learn Spanish. Go to brunch with your grandparents. Take your kids to the park. Start playing disc golf. Go on a peaceful walk. Spend your Sunday watching football.

So in this blog we will focus on living the good life. When we come across something in Falls Church that we think is a hidden gem, we’ll dive into that here. When we find a new toy, food, or experience for Julio, we’ll share that too. And when we figure how to get grease out of your favorite pair of pants (washing soda and ajax), we’ll share that here too so that you can work less and play more.
Most importantly, we want this to be a place for community. Tell us your favorite Falls Church spots. We also want to hear your dog stories—we can’t get enough.
